Unlike the urban beaches in Rio de Janeiro that you might already know the wild beaches outside the City are surrounded by green mountains and beautiful nature.

The sea has an amazing colour that changes into crystal blue or turquoise depending on the weather, the sand is golden, and this paradise is far away from the hectic urban environment.

Fabio is an experienced certified guide and he organizes unforgettable outdoor experiences in the nature with hiking, swimming, fun, sun and adventure.

Fabio takes you to beaches and hidden picturesque spots for which the only way to get there is by walking through the rainforest.

You will discover the wild beaches of Rio the amazing nature and rainforest and you can take a swim in clear waters.

The scenery is very different compared to the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema that are surrounded by urban hassle.

About Fabios hike to the wild beaches.

The hike starts in Pedra Blanca state park and you will discover 3 extraordinary wild beaches.

There will be many viewpoints during the hike offering you privileged panoramic views and you will have many opportunities to take photos on this unforgettable experience.

This tour is for all levels.

You don’t need to be young, athletic or an expert in hiking and climbing.

If you are used to walking and if you have an adventurous spirit, you can come along!

If you're venturesome and athletic then you will also love this hiking experience.

We can plan different tour levels depending on your requests.

by showing the nature's treasures, we hope to create awareness about our environment.

 

​Practical facts about Fabios wild beaches hikingtour

  • Features: Moderate rising trail.

  • Not included: Food, water/drinks.

  • What to take: Water (2 litres/person), a small lunch (fruit/sandwiches for example) sunscreen, insect repellent and a bag that keeps your hands free).

  • What to wear: athletic clothing and hiking or training shoes (no sandals), swimwear and a hat or cap to protect your head from the sun.

  • Transport: The wild beaches are located in the Pedra Blanca state park and we will bring you there and back with car from our meeting point in Ilha de Guratiba BRT station.

  • Time: We meet at 8AM and the tour takes aproximately 6 hours.

We speak Portuguese, French, English and Swedish!

Children over 6 years are welcome for a reduced price :)

Other hiking tours are also possible to Tijuca Rainforest National Park, Christ Redeemer.
